Let me explain the description of this blog.. I am not trying to hurry along my exit from this world. I don't have a bad life, compared to a lot of people, I suppose. I am not on drugs, have no criminal record, hopefully do not have a lot of enemies, have always worked and can take care of myself by myself, have a wonderful family and extended family, and have had basically pretty good health. The only thing missing that would make my life complete, would be if I looked up from this computer right now, and saw my late husband, David, standing there. He has been home with the Lord nigh onto four years now. My heart still aches and yearns for him like it was yesterday. He was a wonderful man, father, and husband to me. He left behind a wonderful family that I would be lost if they were not in my life. Two wonderful sons, Michael and Jody, and six amazing grandchildren .. Casey, Caitlyn, Colby, Colton, Chase and Chassidy. I never was blessed with children of my own, and David gave me a wonderful gift when we married... Their mother, Patricia, is one of my best friends, and I love her dearly, too. Then there is Judy, his sister . more like a sister to me than a friend.
I have a family back in Maine. That is where I was born and raised before moving to Texas in 1991. My Dad passed in July of 2007. David passed in August, 2008 .. Mom passed in December, 2008, and my sister, Jeanette's husband, Orland, passed in January, 2009. It was very hard times back then. I miss them all so much!!!! But life keeps moving . like the waves that wash up on shore and then are swept back out to sea, until they sweep the shore again. My sister, Jeanette; brother, Jody; and Jeanette's two sons, John and Mike, are still there.. John and JoAnn have two beautiful girls, Chelsey and Marissa. Chelsey just finished her Junior year of College and Marissa graduates from High School this June. They are wonderful, sweet, and awesome girls and I've missed all of their growing up years, with only a few visits back home in 21 years.. I'm so sad about that. .. Michael and Jennifer have two sweet boys, Michael and Joshua, and a sweet daughter, Chloe.. They are the youngest, and I'm missing out on their lives too. .. We never know what our future holds and it can be happy and sad, at the same time. At least, that is the story of my life.
As the years are etched in each line on my face, I feel the time getting closer to finally seeing all of my loved ones again. But most importantly, I will see my Jesus. I can feel His love flowing over and through every part of my being. I will finally have answers to all the questions that I never should have asked, but wasn't afraid to, because of His great mercy and love. Everything that I have ever been through in my life, I have felt Him right there with me. He didn't prevent bad things from happening, or sad times, but He never once let me go through any of them alone. I don't deserve His love or His mercy, or His forgiveness. But that is what He has done for me .. with His blood He made me clean. I am so unworthy .. so unworthy!!!!!
